Linda has been managing three in- foal mares for a long-standing Turkish client, Emir Karadag of Cokay Stud, who was boarding the mares near Newmarket. The mares then shipped to Turkey and the first one due, FOREVER GRATEFUL, gave birth to a lovely bay filly on 5th February, by leading Shadwell sire MOHAATHER. Followed by PLEUROTHALIS, who gave birth to a colt foal by CIRCUS MAXIMUS on 12 February. Finally, SEMENYA produced a lovely bay filly by MOHAATHER also, on the 15th February. Fortunately, the stud is a long way from the terrible earthquake area, so all mares and newborn foals are safe. The mares will be covered by different stallions, including TIGER MOTH, the GALILEO stallion which Linda sourced for Cokay stud and has had his first foals in 2023.
